Lost in Translation is returning to Edinburgh Fringe this August — and we’ve got a new home.
This year you’ll find us at Gilded Balloon at the Museum, every night at 9pm from 5–30 August (we’re taking the 17th and 24th off, because even we need a breather). If you caught us last year, you already know what you’re in for. If you didn’t — where were you, and are you ready to fix that?

If you were in the audience in 2025, first of all: thank you, genuinely. Second of all, you know that no two nights of Lost in Translation are ever quite the same, and with a whole new set of scripts on the table, coming back is basically a completely different experience. We’d love to have you again.
And if you can’t make it back yourself, do us a favour and tell someone who can. Word of mouth is everything for a show like ours. Send a friend the link. Post about us. Aggressively corner someone at a party and explain the concept until they buy a ticket. We appreciate all methods equally.
Help Us Cast Our Guest Stars
Here’s where you come in. Every year, Lost in Translation invites special guest stars to join us on stage, and we want your suggestions for 2026.
Got someone in mind? A comedian, an actor, a musician, a local legend, your mate who has a Fringe show and never shuts up about it? We want to hear it. Drop us a message or email and let us know who you’d love to see in the show.
Bonus points if you actually know them and can make an introduction. Consider yourself an official Lost in Translation talent scout. No salary, but we’ll think of you fondly if they nail it.
